Halloween

Alexia wasn't too sure about trick-or-treating. The first house she went to she cried and did not want to go on the porch. As soon as the neighbor held out the candy, she decided to go get it and run as fast as she could back to Antonio. It only took her a couple of houses and then she was a pro. She would go up to the door by herself and knock. She got so excited. I can't believe how fast she is growing up.
Every year we go trick- or -treating to my parents house. They buy "Halloween presents" for the grand-kids. They are so sweet. This was actually the last stop, so Alexia wasn't quite as excited as she had been earlier. Here she is posing with her cousins.
Alexia went trick -0r -treating to Uncle Terry's. He gave her about 10 Kit Kats. She was loving it.

Here she is trick- or -treating at our house. I stayed home because somebody had to give out candy. If you know me, that is a hard thing for me to do. As I have mentioned before, I am the holiday grinch. Halloween is starting to grow on me, though. I just hate when kids come and say, "How many do I get?" I just want to say "none!!"

I love this picture of Alexia waiting for her candy. She actually picked out her treats herself. She mostly got suckers. It was so fun to look in her bucket and see what candy she picked. I need to train her to get more Twix. :)
